Building my booth at Sawdust
Share
Wow, have I been busy preparing for this summer’s Sawdust Art Festival!
I show my work at an art festival featuring 180+ local artists that runs from June 26 to September 6. In this email, I’ll share a bit about how my festival booth is built. (Buy Tickets here)

Now on to the booth…
Many visitors don’t realize that the festival begins essentially as a dirt lot. From the ground up, every artist build a unique booth to showcase their work in the weeks leading up to the festival.
My family has been participating in this annual tradition since the 1960s. My dad and his brother’s booths sparked many of the booth restriction rules due to how innovative (and slightly precarious) they were!

I am so lucky to invite my dear friend Kris back to the grounds to build this year’s booth. He was kind and creative enough to bring my last Alice in Wonderland booth to life…
Can you guess the theme this year?

On top of booth build, I’ve been absolutely swamped juggling designing a new collection, doing weekly pop-ups at Cherry Moon, and making tons of new pieces for you this summer!
